Chapter 2

The weird new being

As the sun was falling down the 4 of
them were arriving at the castle, a great building used as a home by
the elders and home to the great Sun Stone. “Hurry up guys,”
said Mercury running ahead, “jees” said Mars, “who
knew that kid would have so much energy after eating 50 pies.”
“But he was given 10 pies,” said Jupiter, “he ate
most of the other contestants’ pies” said Venus. As they
went up to the gates the guards stop them, “halt state your
business” said the guards; “we’re just here to
pray” said Mars. “Alright then raise the gates,”
said one of the guards as the ones inside lifted the gate. “Thank
you,” said Venus and they went inside.

When they went inside a page came
running towards them, “excuse me Venus, Mars, Jupiter”
called the page, “hey Pebble what do you want” said
Venus. “The elders sent me to get you guys they were wanting to
talk to you guys,” said Pebble, “ok hey Mercury go ahead
without us we’ll catch up soon ok,” said Venus, “ok
guys but hurry up afterwards” said Mercury, “ok we will”
they said and went off with Pebble. So Mercury went off into the room
of stones in this room was the mighty Sun Stone but also in it was a
crystal for ever element, a Venus crystal, a mars crystal, a Jupiter
crystal, and a mercury crystal. It is require for a person to offer
something before making a prayer. Mercury put an herb next to the
stone and closed his eyes and thought. “Dear lord sun I don’t
know if you can hear me or not but I want you to know that today I
won the pie eating contest and also lord sun I wish for something, I
wish something great would happen to this festival something
different to make this the best festival ever,” said Mercury
and as he started to walk away he heard a sound.

He turned around to find the Sun Stone
was glowing and soon the room was filled with a blinding light when
it settled the Sun Stone was now a glowing yellow crystal and at the
foot of it a gray mass was laying next to it. “What is that,”
he thought to himself. He went up to the mass when it arose, Mercury
freaked out then stopped to look at the mass it was very tall
(compared to him), it had a huge set of wings, a tentacle looking
tail, it stood on two legs, and a single horn upon its head. “Who
are you.” asked Mercury, the mass did not reply.
