Prologue

For several years in the land of
weyward people fought the forces of evil sword and shield but some
people of the land were gifted with the special power called
psynergy. Psynergy is a special power using the power of the
elements, earth, fire, wind, and water these elements categorized by
Adepts (a person who has psynergy) as, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and
Mercury. Using these powers adepts were able to help save the land of
weyward but they were not alone in their quest along the way they met
magical beings known as Djinn. Djinn were magical creatures born off
the elements and were strong at psynergy. Adepts used the djinn to
aid them and make them stronger. But after the evil was purged the
djinn went off to find a place they could call home. They eventually
found refuge under a hidden ancient tower known as the Sun and Moon
lighthouse (light houses are what people called ancient towers that
had to do with elements). Here they built homes, towns, and even a
great castle where they kept their most ancient relic, the Sun stone.
It was this stone that they prayed to their god, the ruling element,
the Sun. and for many generations they stayed there and thrived with
all 4 of the type of djinns but one day little did they know that
everything they knew was about to change.

Chapter 1

The sun and moon festival

“Ha ha”, laughed Venus as
he ran around the town, “hey wait up Venus, man he is too happy
today” groaned Mars. It was the day of the sun and moon
festival where once a year for one week all the djinn in the kingdom
would celebrate their worship of the sun and moon. Djinn celebrated
this joyous occasion with parties, fairs, and lots of food and other
activities. “Aw come on Mars I just can’t help it the sun
and moon festival is just so much fun,” said Venus cheerfully,
“well just hold it for a second we have to find Jupiter and
Mercury, especially Mercury we told his mom that he would be watch
over him while he was at the festival” said Mars, “yeah
what about scaredy cat Jupiter he freaks out over everything”
said Venus. “Fine I’ll find Mercury and you go find
Jupiter ok,” said Mars, “alright but if I know Mercury he
probably went to the market area to look for sweets,” said
Venus, “ok” said Mars, “good luck with finding
Jupiter.” “Ok,” said Venus and they went off to
find their friends.

As Venus hopped around he heard a
familiar scream. “Hey that sounds like Jupiter,” he
exclaimed and ran off towards the source of the scream. The led him
to an alley way, there he saw Jupiter pinned against the wall in
fright and standing in front of him were Flare the bully and his gang
who were teasing Jupiter with a dead rat. “What’s the
matter are you a big chicken,” snarled Flare as his gang made
clucking sounds. “Nnnnnoooooo,” stuttered Jupiter
nervously, “oh yeah so why don’t you prove it go ahead I
dare” said Flare. “I know, why don’t we make you
eat it,” sneered Flare as his gang laugh, “nnnnnoooooo
thaaaank you” chattered Jupiter, “hey” yelled
Venus, “you leave him alone you bullies.” Flare looked at
Venus, “fine we were just fooling around come on guys looks
like the baby’s mommy came to help him,” Flare said as
they walked off laughing.

“You ok Jupiter,” said
Venus, “yeah but those guys are such jerks at times that it
makes me so mad that I just want to grrr,” said Jupiter. “Ok
but we should probably go find and catch up with Mars ok,” said
Venus, “ok let’s go” said Jupiter. So Venus and
Jupiter went off for the marketplace where mars had gone to look for
mercury. “You see them yet,” said Venus. Jupiter looked
around, “nope don’t see them anywhere” said Jupiter
from the sky, “oh come on your only one of us who can fly yet
you can’t see anything up there” grumbled Venus, “well
it’s not like I have eagle vision” said Jupiter. “Well,
keep looking there here somewhere,” said Venus, “wait I
see them” said Jupiter, “over at the pie eating contest.”
Indeed they were Venus spotted Mars in the audience, “hey Mars”
he yelled, “Where’s Mercury.” “See for
yourself,” Mars said pointing at the contest booth. “Good
evening everyone,” said the announcer in a strong voice, “we
would like to thank you all for coming here for are annual pie eating
contest, we even have a very energetic little boy in the contest
today, son  what would you like to tell the audience why you wanted
to take part in this contest today?” “I like pie,”
answered Mercury as the crowd laughed. “Anyway now we can go on
to starting the contest,” said the announcer, “OK on your
mark, get set, go.” Almost instantly Mercury dove into the pile
of pies eating ravenously one of the other contestants went off
because he felt sick. With a big belch Mercury had finished all his
pies. “And we have a winner,” exclaimed the announcer.
Venus went up to mercury, “OK you had your fun come on we have
to go to the castle to say are prays before the day is done.”
“OK let’s go,” said Mercury and they went off
towards the castle.
